ASUS AC2600 Router Performance
Thanks to 5th generation Wi-Fi (5G Wi-Fi) and 256QAM technology, the 802.11 ac chipset on the ASUS AC2600 Router provides much higher wireless rates than the N technology on the same model. It has a maximum speed of 800 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and a maximum speed of 1733 Mbps on the 5GHz spectrum.
The ASUS RT-AC2600 router is equipped with a dual-core CPU, which avoids the performance dips that are common with other routers. Thus, even on the busiest home networks, HD video streaming is seamless, latency for online gaming and VoIP calls is low, and file downloads are unaffected.
