MU-MIMO gives every compatible device its own dedicated full-speed Wi-Fi connection, so that many devices can connect at the same time with no slowing down the network. ASUS DSL-AC68VG is able to connect to as many as 3 MU-MIMO-compatible clients at each device’s maximum speed simultaneously, unlike standard single-user MIMO where individual devices have to wait for sequential transmissions.
Complete VoIP System.
ASUS DSL-AC68VG has advanced VoIP capabilities that allow it to be used as a complete home internet telephony system. Users can register ASUS DSL-AC68VG with up to 10 SIP-compatible VoIP accounts, and connect standard analog telephones or fax machines to the two standard RJ-11 telephony ports. Up to five cordless DECT phones can also be connected to the built-in DECT base station. Any GAP-compatible DECT phone can be connected, and ASUS DSL-AC68VG also supports the Eco-DECT energy-saving standard. ASUS DSL-AC68VG has the capacity to handle as many as 5 simultaneous voice calls, and there is also an integrated solid-state answering machine.
